Business Developer, New Sales
Vattenfall Consumer Sales Nordic is accelerating towards a future with the connected energy landscape, new solutions, empowered customers and disruptive competitors. We recently implemented an agile structure, governance and way of working - a major shift in becoming even more fleet-footed and to put the customer in the center of everything we do. We have applied this through cross-functional self-organizing teams who work in short cycles to deliver improvements for the customer and business continuously. We work with customer-centric business models in agile cross-functional teams and we aim for increased market leadership in Sweden and in Finland! We are on our way to become fully customer centric and thus provide a first-class customer experience – no matter what information, channel, app or individual you get in touch with.
All daily work in Consumer Sales Nordic, both operations and development, is carried out in cross-functional scrum teams. It is in these teams that we deliver a great customer experience in all of our customer journeys and progress on our business targets. Ensuring we are in the forefront in each competence area all employees belong to a chapter i.e. center of excellence. Chapters are groups of functional competences that share best practices and develop their expertise. There are different Chapters for different competences and skills.
In this position, you will belong to the Chapter Traders. As a Trader you are competitive and strongly business driven. It comes naturally for you to think from a customer perspective ensuring value for both Vattenfall and our customers, translating customer needs into tangible business results.
As a Business Developer
You see the big picture and have an understanding how Vattenfall and our solutions fit into the future landscape. You are excited about the new and changing energy landscape and eager to help our customers manage this change.
Vattenfall needs you to understand and master the digital sales landscape to be able to develop our sales channels to meet the changing market and to be able to create new ways of working.
You have a team of experts for all different sales channels to work for you in order to create the best cross and upsell opportunities within customers electricity journeys. We expect you to be a team player who ensures team's success.
You know how to orchestrate propositions, finding the best cross & upsell opportunities as well as the optimal channel mix throughout the customer journeys. You also have strong new sales management skills to meet the sales targets.
You need to be naturally competitive, have a strong business drive and solid business understanding. Your instinct is to focus on the value for both Vattenfall and the customer. You understand the customer needs and perspective. Identifying new business opportunities and creating them to tangible business results is who you are.
You communicate fluently in Finnish and in English. Swedish is considered as advantage.
Process and time line
Ideally you will be starting in your new role in the beginning of October 2017.
