All daily work in Consumer Sales Nordic is carried out in cross-functional scrum teams. Ensuring we are in the forefront in each competence area all employees will belong to a chapter i.e. center of excellence. Chapters are groups of functional competences that will share best practices and develop their expertise. This position will belong to our Chapter Traders – Business developers.

Vattenfall is now looking for a Partnership Manager

As a Partnership manager, you will become a highly important team member of our Swedish Channel Performance Team that reports to the Commercial Director Electricity Sweden at Consumer Sales Nordic.

Consumer Sales Nordic serves 1,3 million customers in the consumer and small & medium business markets in Sweden and Finland. In this role, you will be one of our key contributors in shaping the future for Vattenfall and our customers in the Swedish market.

As a partnership manager you will, based on business insights and knowledge, also create and develop long lasting traditional as well as digital partnerships that will bring value to our business as well as our strategy – Power Climate Smarter Living. You always strive for the best deal delivering sustainable value, both to us as well as the partner, but foremost the customer. More specifically, your responsibilities include:
• Set up partnership strategy framework and target partners
• Establishing the business case and managing the decision process towards key internal and external stakeholders
• Estimating commercial and environmental value in contractual assets
• Establish and lead negotiations of major contracts
• Maintain, optimize and evaluate existing contracts
• Coordinate implementation of partnerships, with support from the team and concerned programs

We are looking for a partnership manager that likes working in a high pace environment communicating with key stakeholders to create value for both parties. You have a strong passion for the sales process and love closing deals. You are used to creating your own opportunities, are self-reliant and love to interact and work together with others. You have a solid business understanding and are excellent on combining that knowledge with understanding of the customer needs. You possess effective relationship-building skills and are able to resolve contractual, technical, and financial agreements with partners in order to best represent our users, products, and programs.

In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position
• Industry experience from the energy industry, insurance, telecom or other similar industries
• Experience from business to consumer sales with budget responsibility
• Operational experience from partnership development as KAM or similar partner sales role.
• Analytical ability in general, focusing on finding and acting on insights that lead to improved business performance
• Strong communicative ability, with focus on face-to face communication and world class negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Swedish language (both written and oral), speaking and understanding Finnish is a plus.
