We are now looking for two Product Specialists – one generalist, one focusing on environmental issues

These are permanent roles – we offer you a challenging career in a fast, complex and exciting energy business.

The main responsibility for the Product Specialist is to improve our products for our larger B2B  customers in Sweden. The overall objective is to ensure that our product portfolio is attractive, profitable and compliant, and the portfolio consists of electricity products, environmental products, administrative services and related web solutions. You will be part of a small Nordic product development team, working in close cooperation with the Sales department, and several other functions within Vattenfall.

As a Product Specialist, you will develop new products for B2B customers, adapt our current ones to keep them up to date with changing needs, and support Business Sales in winning individual deals. Both roles can work on the full product portfolio as part of the team, the Environmental Product Specialist with a stronger focus on the environmental products. You will be reporting to the Director Portfolio Management Commodities.


Our ideal candidate (generalist) has a Master of Science degree in Business or Engineering. Your experience (e.g. from a smaller energy company or from a related role on the customer side) means you’re quickly up to speed with most issues that arise. Your experience and personal characteristics allow you understand how our products fit our customers business, and how they can be improved to better solve customer needs. Experience from the electricity market is a demand for this role.


Our ideal candidate (environmental) has a Master of Science degree in Engineering, probably with focus on energy or environmental technology. Your experience from environmental work, e.g. as environmental manager or environmental consultant, allows you to clearly articulate how our environmental products fit our customers business, and how they can be improved to better solve customer needs. Experience within sustainability/environmental area is a demand for this role.

• passionate about smart energy, sustainability and climate

• fluent Swedish and English
